Terms of Service

1. Who this agreement is with

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Meyer Utvikling Frilans Tjenester (org. no. 931 370 898, Norway) (“Manifesto-it”, “we”, “us”), governing your use of the Manifesto-it website and app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

2. What Manifesto-it is — and isn’t

Manifesto-it is a manifestation, visualisation and personal-productivity tool. It helps you describe a goal, generates a written “future vision,” a personal vision board, a daily affirmation/visualisation/journal/action routine, an optional 30-day challenge, suggested milestones, and (for photos you choose to upload) a stylised “Future Self” image filter.

None of this is a guarantee, prediction, or promise of any outcome — financial, personal, physical, or otherwise. Content generated by the Service (whether by our template engine or by a third-party AI model) is for motivation and reflection only. The “Future Self” image is a stylised filter applied to your own photo — it is not a depiction of how you will actually look, and is not generated by, or representative of the output of, any facial-prediction or age-progression technology. Suggested milestones and timelines are illustrative examples, not projections. The Service does not provide financial, legal, medical, psychological, or other professional advice, and nothing in the Service should be treated as such. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take.

3. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You’re responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• Tell us immediately at our contact page if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• The Free plan is available at no cost, with the limits described on the Pricing page.
• Premium is billed at $7.99/month or $49.99/year, charged in advance on a recurring basis via Stripe until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings → Manage Billing (Stripe’s Billing Portal). Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current billing period unless required by law in your jurisdiction.
• We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; changes apply from your next billing cycle.
• Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your full card details.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you create or upload — goals, journal entries, vision board images and text, and photos. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it back to you as part of operating the Service, and — only where a feature requires it (e.g. AI-generated visions, sessions, challenges, or milestone features, when you’re on a Premium plan and AI generation is enabled) — to send the relevant text to our AI provider solely to generate that content for you. We do not sell your content or use it to train third-party models.

You’re responsible for what you upload. Don’t upload content you don’t have the right to use, or content that’s illegal, infringing, or someone else’s likeness without their consent.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, or to harass, defraud, or impersonate anyone;
• Attempt to breach, scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service;
• Resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written permission;
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt other users’ access.

7. Intellectual property

The Service’s software, design, branding, and template content are owned by Meyer Utvikling Frilans Tjenester or our licensors. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding beyond using the Service as intended.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (contact us to process a full account and data deletion). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Meyer Utvikling Frilans Tjenester is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we’ll notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
